If you organize events in the Greater Hickory area, we’ve got some exciting news!
We’re excited to share that the new HickoryBuzz.com is now live!
Over the past year, Hickory Buzz has continued to grow, and we’ve completely redesigned the website to make it easier than ever for local event organizers to share what’s happening throughout our community.
A Better Way to Share Your Events
One of the biggest improvements is our new event submission system.
Anyone can now add events directly to the website. No invitation is required.
When you submit your first event, we’ll automatically create an organizer account for you.
Every new event is reviewed before publication to help keep bots and spam out of the calendar. Once your event has been approved, you’ll be able to log in anytime to:
- Update your event description
- Add more details as your event develops
- Change or replace your event photo
- Submit future events even faster
- And if the date changes or the event is cancelled, you can control that too
Every Event Is Welcome
Our goal is simple: to build the most complete community calendar in the Hickory area.
That means we want everything happening around town:
- Festivals
- Live music
- Restaurant specials
- Yard sales
- Charity events
- Church events
- Workshops and classes
- Sporting events
- Kids’ activities
- Business networking events
- Community gatherings
- Major concerts
- …and everything in between!
Whether your event is free or paid, large or small, we’d love to help you spread the word.
New! Featured Events
Submitting your events to Hickory Buzz will always be free.
If you’d like to give your event even more visibility, we’re excited to introduce our new Featured Event option.
For just $25, your event will receive:
- Featured placement on the Hickory Buzz home page
- Featured placement on our Featured Events page
- Featured placement at the top of its primary event category
- A spotlight in our weekly Hickory Buzz email newsletter during the week of your event
Our newsletter reaches thousands of local readers every week who are actively looking for things to do around the Hickory area.
Whether you choose a free event listing or a Featured Event, our goal is the same—to connect more people with the amazing events happening throughout our community.
We’re excited about everything that’s ahead, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Visit HickoryBuzz.com today to explore the new website and submit your next event.
After all…
Your events belong on Hickory Buzz.
