The Alexander County Services Center was opened to consolidate some county offices to better serve the public. The building houses the following departments: Parks & Recreation, Soil & Water, Cooperative Extension, Tax Office, Register of Deeds, Planning, Building Inspections, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Environmental Health. The Tax Office has a convenient drive-thru for transactions.
