August 3–9 is National Simplify Your Life Week
We’re all for finding little ways to make life easier.
One simple change? Instead of checking Facebook, community calendars, individual business pages, and asking your friends what’s happening this weekend, bookmark HickoryBuzz.com.
Our goal is to make Hickory Buzz the one place you need to discover what’s happening in and around Hickory. From concerts and live music to community events, farmers markets, theater performances, fundraisers, sporting events, and family activities—we’re working every day to build the most complete events calendar in the area.
Life is busy enough. Finding something fun to do shouldn’t be.
Tip: Bookmark HickoryBuzz.com on your phone. The next time someone asks, “What’s there to do this weekend?” you’ll have the answer in seconds.
Celebrate International Beer Day
Friday, August 7, is International Beer Day (#BeerDay)—the perfect excuse to get together with friends and enjoy one of Hickory’s local breweries, pubs, or restaurants.
Many local venues are featuring live music this weekend, making it easy to turn a casual dinner into a fun night out.
Browse the Live Music section of the calendar to see who’s playing and where the music is happening.
Garage Sale Season is Here!
Saturday, August 8, is National Garage Sale Day (#GarageSaleDay).
Did you know that you can add your garage sale to the Hickory Buzz calendar?
Whether you’re cleaning out the attic, organizing a neighborhood sale, or know someone hosting one, we’d love to help spread the word.
In fact, that’s exactly what Hickory Buzz is all about.
