In this hands-on longleaf pine needle basketry workshop, you will have the opportunity to connect with local, natural materials while making a gourd and long leaf pine needle bowl. The class will cover an introduction to working with pine needles, hand-stitching, and coiling techniques – all fundamental elements of learning to make longleaf pine needle baskets. Supplies will be provided.
