Barn Quilt Square

Create your own 2×2-foot barn quilt square in this hands-on painting and design workshop. Students will choose from nine sample designs, learn the full process of designing and painting a barn quilt, and take home a completed piece.

With approximately 100 colors to choose from, participants will use tape to create clean, precise designs. All paints are water-based, and the boards and paints are weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use.

The class is taught by Carol Mitchell, a traveling barn quilt teacher from Taylorsville, NC, who has more than 12 years of experience painting and teaching exterior barn quilts throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

A minimum of 8 students is required for the class to take place. If enrollment does not reach the minimum, the class may be canceled and payments will be refunded.
