Curious about working with encaustic wax? This beginner-friendly workshop offers a warm and welcoming introduction to the luminous world of hot wax and collage. You’ll learn how to layer and fuse materials using encaustic medium, experimenting freely as you create depth, texture and expression in your work.

All materials are provided, including a prepped 8 x 10 wood panel, encaustic wax, tools and a wide selection of collage elements to spark your creativity.

Want to personalize your piece? Feel free to bring along any handmade or highly absorbent papers you’d like to include. (Tip: magazine and standard printer paper don’t work well with wax.)
