Get ready to kick off your weekends with the rhythm of summer! The highly anticipated 2025 TGIF Summer Concert Series lineup will bringing a diverse lineup of live music to the heart of downtown. From soulful rhythm and blues to classic rock anthems and country twang, there’s something for everyone to enjoy under the stars. Hailing from the Foothills of North Carolina, members of Runaway Train have performed for Festivals, Theaters, Corporate Gigs and Cruise Lines from North Carolina to Hollywood, California. Runaway Train covers genres of music from Classic Rock/Top 40/Mo Town/Beach and Country. Runaway Train strives to make each event no matter how big or small as much fun as possible. Runaway Train has worked as the touring band for 90’s Country artist’s Marty Raybon (lead singer of Shenandoah), T Graham Brown, and are currently working with Wade Hayes when not performing on their own. Runaway Train also performs with their “little sister”, American Idol alumni Chelsea Sorrell. For 3 consecutive years Runaway Train performed for the Carnival Cruise Lines working as themselves and with Elvis entertainers.
