Celebrate the creativity and imagination of our 2025 Summer Art Camp students! This special exhibition showcases artwork created by young artists ages 4–17 during their time at HMA. From painting and sculpture to mixed media and more, each piece reflects the skills learned, friendships formed, and fun had throughout a summer filled with art-making. Join us in honoring these budding artists and their incredible work!

Hickory Museum of Art was founded in 1944 to collect, foster, and preserve American art. 8 works were collected that year, and today, 75+ years later, the Museum now has approximately 1,500 art objects in the Collection. Hickory Museum of Art continues on the pursuit of inspiration, imagination, and creativity. They keep meeting challenges head-on: to continue fostering important conversations, to continue being a catalyst for positive change, and to keep shaping our future, today and every day.
