Park Stewardship Day

Let’s show St. Stephens Park some love! 

Join Visit Hickory NC, Outdoor NC, Catawba County Parks and Keep Catawba County Beautiful for a fun, hands-on day of giving back and getting outdoors. Volunteers will help enhance the natural beauty and ecological health of St. Stephens Park through projects focused on landscaping improvements, natural area enhancement, and park beautification.

Activities will include spreading pine straw in garden areas and assisting with general park upkeep throughout the park. No special skills are required, and all tools and guidance will be provided. Wear long sleeves, closed-toe shoes, and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
