Chicago: Teen Edition

“Chicago: Teen Edition” is a modified version of the classic musical “Chicago,” set in the roaring 1920s, focusing on two women, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly. Both are accused of murder and compete for media attention while incarcerated in Cook County Jail. The women use their trials as a platform to gain fame and ultimately seek acquittal, while navigating the corrupt legal system and the allure of celebrity culture. This adaptation is tailored to be a little more appropriate for younger audiences by removing explicit sexual content and mature language. The actors are 14-18 years old. This is a great opportunity to support local young adults and their incredible talent!

At Pitch Perfect, we pride ourselves in providing quality performing arts instruction to children, youth & teens ages 3-18+! Our goal is to train vocalists to be comfortable in their ability to perform live and build confidence on stage. Our instructors will assess each student’s vocal ability to meet them on their individual level. We strive to provide students with a true “Triple Threat” pathway (singing, dancing & acting!) on a weekly basis.
