Learn the Basics of Acrylic Painting in this all-day workshop taught by instructor and local artist, Clay James.
Participants will create a ‘still life’ painting while learning the following:
- Canvas preparation
- ‘Still life’ set-up
- Lighting the ‘still life’ set-up
- Drawing in paint
- Understanding proportion
- Color theory
- Setting up your pallette
- Laying the paint
- and more!
Date: Saturday, March 14
Time: 10am – 4pm (with an hour break for lunch*)
Cost: $85 | ALL materials will be provided.
*Lunch will NOT be provided. Please pack a lunch or visit one of Newton’s nearby restaurants and cafés.
