2025 FFN Concert Series – Shake Down Band

Shake Down is a five-piece variety band located in the foothills of North Carolina. Combining a mixture of both “past” and “present” in both talent and music, they perform a wide variety of music including beach, shag, rock’n’roll, funk, motown, country, and top 40. Shake Down is the perfect group for any festival, wedding, corporate event, dance club, or any other venue!

Summer concerts are a staple to the Valdese Summer schedule, and attendees come from all over to enjoy FREE family fun entertainment. The Town of Valdese hosts this series to bring family fun entertainment downtown. Visitors and locals make plans on Friday nights to enjoy time with family, friends, and neighbors while they enjoy various genres of music from regional bands. The Valdese Family Friday Nights Summer Concert Series celebrates the summer on Friday nights from June to August. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy a different regional band each week.
