Poetry Hickory Featuring Scott Owens

Poetry Hickory founder, Scott Owens, will debut his 24th collection of poetry, “Elemental,” poems about nature. Owens has received awards from the NC Poetry Society, the NC Writers Network, the Academy of American Poets, the Pushcart Prize Anthology, and the Poetry Society of SC. His work has been featured 8 times on “The Writer’s Almanac,” 5 times in Poetry in Plain Sight, and 5 times in Poet’s Market. He teaches creative writing at Lenoir Rhyne University.
