Sustainable Art for Kids

About:

Kat Evans, Creative Director for NoCo Arts and the artist behind Terra Artemis, will lead a sustainable art workshop focusing on creating inks and paints using materials found easily in the kitchen (turmeric, berries, eggshells), copper oxide (made from copper fittings and distilled white vinegar), rust, and charcoal. Participants will learn the properties of binders that can be used with the different pigments and will be creating works of art on various paper substrates.
