Colonial Fashions III: “Housewife” Sewing Kit

Join us in this beginner-friendly sewing class as we make historically-inspired sewing kits. All materials will be provided to make a 3-pocket “housewife,” complete with wooden string bobbins, a needle keeper, and button closure.

Hart Square Foundation is responsible for the historic preservation of Hart Square Village and the conservation of traditional and regional arts. They host mission-driven public events year-round, offer folklife classes and K-12 educational programming, and welcome members Tuesday through Saturday through our membership program.
