Creating Your Event is Easy and Fun

Step 1: Fill Out the Form

Share the key details of your event. This is your chance to give us all the exciting facts!

Step 2: Choose Your Image

Pick a striking image that captures your event's vibe. A great image can really draw people in!

Step 3: Submit & Relax

After double-checking your info, hit submit and chill out while we spread the word!

Here are notes and details about each section of the form:

Event title –  What is your event called?

Event Description –  Add details.  What is special about your event?  Who is your event for?  What can people expect?  Are there special parking requirements?  Make your description fun and exciting.

Event Time & Date – While an event date is an obvious requirement,  there is something special to note about the time.  Be sure to add an end time and here’s why: let’s say your event starts at 7:00 pm, but attendees can arrive anytime throughout the night, but there’s no end time listed.  When someone clicks on the events calendar at 7:15, your event won’t show up.  Always show an end time even if it is approximate.

Event Image – The event image size on our site is 800×600 pixels.  Please reference the image below.  It is important to place your focal point or logo in the center as the image will be cropped differently on different devices.  You can use a free program such as Canva.com to create your image.  We reserve the right to change the image for any submitted event.

Event Categories – Choose up to 3, if multiple categories apply

Event Tags – Select up to 3 tags.

Virtual Event – Ignore this section

Events Status – When creating an event, leave the status as Scheduled.  If an event cancels or postpones, please contact us and we will update the listing.

Venue Details – This is the location of your event.  Click the dropdown list of venues.  If you don’t see your location, you will not be able to add it here, but you will be able to inform us in another section. In the case of a Yard Sale, please select “See Description” as the venue and be sure the address is listed in the event description.

Organizer Details – Who is the promoter/organizer of the event?  Sometimes this is the venue owner, sometimes it isn’t.  If you don’t see the correct organizer in the list, you won’t be able to add them here, but you will be able to let us know in another section.  In the case of a Yard Sale, please leave it blank on the default “See description.”

Event Website – add the complete website address here, if applicable.

Additional Fields

Notes – This is the area where you can tell us about any venues or organizers we need to add to our permanent list.  Feel free to share any other additional information about your event or organization.

Your Name and Email Address – We would like to be able to contact you if we have any other questions.  We will also add you contact information to our special publishers list so that we can keep in contact.

Event Cost – enter a dollar amount or a range if you have different ticket prices.  Details should be included in the Event Description.

Terms of Submission – Read the terms and check the box if you agree.

Click Submit
