Game Highlight (3): ’51 Rocks 75th Anniversary Night & Jersey Auction

The Granite Falls Graniteers may have only been around for one season in the Western Carolina League, but the impact they left was historic. The team posted a 14-96 record, the worst winning percentage in baseball history and churned through 5 managers. To close out the season, the team signed five black players from Ridgeview High School, becoming the first Southern team to break the color barrier. To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the team, the Crawdads will wear ’51 Rocks jerseys that will be up for auction via the MiLB Auctions platform.
